My name is Deanna and I am a wife and mother who started blogging as a way to write down my thoughts and help my friends find their next read.  Although my love of reading has not changed, my purpose has somewhat shifted.

In October 2013, I found several emails in my inbox from a marketing company announcing newly (or soon to be) released books.  These emails included the option to review in exchange for a free book.  I thought, “Why not? I’ll give it a try.”  That was the beginning of what has turned into a real discovery of the great authors out there who don’t have the luck of an agent/editor/traditional publisher.

On this site you will find reviews of books by self-published authors as well as reviews of traditionally published books.  Good or bad, I will give you my opinion.  I don’t write lengthy book reports.  I believe that these types of reviews often give away too much of the book, and I want you to experience the stories for yourself.
